Grove Isle: Full House at Court Today

Grove Isle residents turned out in force today to hear that the Developer’s motion to dismiss our injunction was denied.  One hundred and twenty islanders filled the courtroom and proceedings only finished at 5pm.  The hearing will continue on Wednesday (4/29) at 10.30am in the same courtroom.  We encouraged you to join us then to help Preserve Grove Isle.

Wish I could have been there to add my support. I live in NJ but have had a home on the island for 15 years. I want to thank PGI and the individuals who have taken the initiative to protect all of the residents best interest.s The longer we have the developer tied up in court with various law suits both present and future the more likely we will get satisfactory results. He is an arrogant man who has very little compassion for the residents nor the quality of life on our island. Greed is what this man is all about. Thank you PGI team again for all your hard work and subsidizing this legal effort. I know this can be costly and hope other residents will help offset the costs so it doesn’t all come from just a few of us.

We were very well represented … with neighbors that showed up… and with talented attorneys! Thank you all!
